Krka Waterfalls from Zadar – a boat trip plus transfer
The Krka waterfalls cannot be reached all the way by yacht from Sukošan: the Soraya takes you with a skipper approx. 38–45 nautical miles (around 2.5–3 hours) south as far as the bay of Šibenik or on to Skradin, from where a separate transfer or the national park's own boat continues to the waterfalls. This trip is therefore best suited as part of a multi-day or weekly charter, rather than as a pure day trip. Actual reachability depends on speed, wind and waves.
Honestly: not a pure boat trip all the way to the waterfalls
The low Skradin bridge and the speed limit on the river Krka prevent private yachts such as the Soraya from continuing to the Skradinski Buk waterfall. From Skradin, the national park's official boats take over onward transport.
The route from Sukošan to Skradin/Šibenik
The distance from Sukošan to the vicinity of Skradin or Šibenik is approx. 38–45 nautical miles and takes around 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on course and weather. This distance makes the trip most enjoyable as part of a multi-day route.
Anchoring off Šibenik and transferring into the national park
The Soraya berths or anchors at Šibenik or Skradin, from where you arrange the onward transfer into Krka National Park. Entry to the national park counts among the national park entrance fees and is charged separately.
Best as part of a multi-day charter
Because of the distance we recommend Krka as a component of a 4-day charter from €6,500 or a weekly charter from €9,500–15,000, combinable with further cruising grounds such as Kornati or Dugi Otok. That leaves enough time for an overnight stay on board (max. 4 guests, 2 cabins) and for the excursion itself.
