Weekly Charter Croatia: a sample route through Kornati and Dalmatia

A typical weekly charter starts and ends at Marina Dalmacija in Sukošan near Zadar and runs over seven days through Kornati National Park, on to Dugi Otok and on to Šibenik with Krka National Park. The exact order is agreed day by day between the skipper, you and the weather.

Starting point: Marina Dalmacija, Sukošan

The start and finish port of every weekly charter is Sukošan near Zadar. From here the most important cruising grounds of northern Dalmatia are reachable without long delivery passages — a clear location advantage over charter bases further south.

Days 1–2: Kornati National Park

The Kornati islands, with their more than 140 bare limestone isles, are the heart of the first days: sheltered anchorages, clear water, little development. The national park entry fee is not included in the charter price and is levied on site.

Days 3–4: Dugi Otok — Sakarun and Telašćica

On to Dugi Otok: the sandy beach of Sakarun with its turquoise, shallow water, and the Telašćica nature park with its cliffs and salt lake. Two very different landscapes on a single island.

Day 5: Šibenik and Krka National Park

A detour to Šibenik combines old-town flair with proximity to Krka National Park and its waterfalls. As with Kornati, entry is paid separately and is not included in the charter price.

Days 6–7: Ugljan, Pašman and the return to Sukošan

On the way back lie Ugljan and Pašman with their quiet bays near Zadar — a relaxed finale before the yacht is handed back in Sukošan on the seventh day.
