Sakarun & Dugi Otok Boat Trip from Zadar
Sakarun sandy beach on Dugi Otok lies approx. 20–25 nautical miles (around 1–1.5 hours' cruising) west of Marina Dalmacija in Sukošan and can be reached on the Soraya with a skipper as a private half-day or full-day trip. Rounded out with the cliffs of Telašćica bay and the island's hidden coves, the trip suits up to 9 day guests – with no boat licence of your own. Actual reachability depends on speed, wind and waves.
Sakarun – the sandy beach of the Adriatic
Sakarun is one of the few genuine sandy beaches in northern Dalmatia, with shallow, turquoise water. The Soraya anchors close to the beach, so you can reach the shore comfortably by tender or by swimming.
Telašćica – cliffs and quiet bays
On the southern side of Dugi Otok lies Telašćica bay with its striking cliffs facing the open sea. On request the skipper takes you there and to further quiet anchorages away from the main routes.
Half day or full day
A half-day trip focuses on Sakarun, while a full-day trip links the beach with Telašćica and additional bays. The flat day rate is €1,100 in any season; alternatively the trip forms part of a 4-day charter from €6,500 or a weekly charter from €9,500.
What comes on board
Snorkel sets, the bathing platform, the onboard technology, bed linen/towels and a welcome drink are included. Fuel, marina fees outside Sukošan and catering are billed separately.
